Departure

As an upper Midwesterner transplanted to the southern Appalachians, I have to work hard to find open, panoramic vistas reminiscent of my youth. I caught this moment just outside of Knoxville, Tennessee during a mild summer evening. The graceful clouds drew my interest because of their sweeping movement across the scene as day faded into evening.
