This moment comes from the "plateau" area between Nashville and Knoxville, Tennessee, near the community of Crossville. It's an interesting area that I'm just beginning to explore in my artwork. With its elevation, it's a little cooler there in the summertime than in Knoxville, adding to its appeal.
I caught this view following a rainy start to the day, just as the clouds were breaking and the sun was beginning to make an appearance.
