Located in the Nantahala National Forest of western North Carolina, this little hiking trail packs a lot of bang for the buck. Short, not arduous, and immensely rewarding with great views along the cascades. Of course, it's at its best during peak fall foliage in late October, but it dazzles me no matter the season.
This painting is the latest addition to my "What's Your 20?" series of paintings in celebration of my 20th anniversary of working as an artist.
Please Note: This painting is fresh off the easel and will be ready to go to its new home in early December.
