For the month of June, this landscape from east Tennessee symbolizes the traditional birthstone, Pearl, in my Jewel Tones series of paintings.
Tumbling cloud formations over a spare horizon always captivate me. I enjoyed the almost iridescent colors throughout the clouds here, making this the perfect representation of the gemstone and its signature trait of purity.
