This moment in the Great Smoky Mountains caught my eye because of the distant highlight on the surface of the water, just around the bend and slightly concealed behind the trees.
I always want to know "what's around the bend."
In this instance, I couldn't get there (no waders on that day), but I loved the overall contrast and balance within this subject.
