Bold shapes and restrained energy set the tone for this down-the-street moment in New York City. To me, cities are endless sources of energy and inspiration.

Earlier this year, my Dad passed away. At that same time, my Mom was recovering from a series of traumatic injuries following a fall. It was a tough time. In the midst of it all, I took my truck through an automatic car wash and vegged out, hypnotized by the water washing down my windshield. I think I discovered a relaxing new hobby (!)

You can see the car wash video here, in the last product image. I took that imagery and incorporated it into this piece. It creates cool textural effects.
