Firestone Twilight

Oh, boy, do I love the "tipping point" between late afternoon and early evening. It's my favorite time of day to go prowling for inspiration because it's that moment when we all have to turn on our car's headlights, but there's still enough lingering daylight in the sky to showcase all of its magnificent colors. 

This subject comes from my hometown of Knoxville, Tennessee, along Kingston Pike, a major thoroughfare that bisects the city from east to west. When I can combine a stunning sky with the higgledy-piggledy chaos of utility lines and strip malls, I find it irresistible.

Weird, I know... (!) But it's all about the color, folks.
