This alley way off of Locust Street near Rittenhouse Square Park in Philadelphia always catches my eye whenever I visit the city. I can’t explain the reason why… I just like the configuration of the building shapes and the way that looking down the alley frames them. I’ve wanted to paint this subject for many years and I finally caught this opportunity during a beautiful summer afternoon. The delightful cottonball clouds made this subject come to life for me.
