Noteworthy

Professional Artist Magazine published my article, Get the Print You Want: Make Color Management Work for You, in their February / March 2013 issue.

I was one of 30 artists from the mid-Atlantic region selected for the 2013 winter plein air paint out hosted by the Chadds Ford Historical Society. The paint out took place on February 1 and 2, 2013. A preview party for interested patrons took place on Saturday evening, February 2, 2013. The exhibition continues through February 22, 2013. My cityscape, Charge! won the Judy Pardue Memorial Award for Best Landscape at the 2011 Shades of Pastel national juried exhibition sponsored by the Maryland Pastel Society. The exhibition opened on October 26, 2011 at the Workhouse Art Center in Lorton, Virginia and continued through November 20, 2011.

Sunshine Artist Magazine interviewed me for an article entitled “Computing the Art Show Equation: The Digital Revolution and Your Business,” a feature about how artists use technology. The interview was in their October, 2011 edition and you can read an excerpt in my Studio Blog.

My cityscape, Rain Walker, was selected for the 2011 Northeast National Pastel Exhibition in Old Forge, New York. The exhibition was at the Old Forge Arts Center from May 14 to June 26, 2011.

In 2010, I published From My Easel: A Celebration of Pennsylvania’s Black Moshannon State Park. This book features reproductions of my paintings from the past five years within the park as well as information about Black Moshannon’s history and ecology. One half of the proceeds from the sale of each book were donated to benefit the park.
