In May of 2008, the Standing Stone Art League of Huntingdon, Pennsylvania invited me to teach a one-day introduction to pastels workshop for beginning and intermediate students.
The Friends of Black Moshannon, on behalf of the Pennsylvania Parks and Forests Foundation, selected my plein air painting, "Black Moshannon No. 18 - Morning Shadows" for the new Pennsylvania Wilds Tag program. This program is designed to generate revenue and raise awareness of the more than 1.5 million acres of state forest and game lands in the Pennsylvania Wilds. Park visitors will be able to purchase these commemorative limited edition tags that depict what is unique about each state park.

My cityscape, In Temple Bar, was accepted into the 2007 national juried exhibition "For Pastels Only On Cape Cod." The exhibition took place during the month of August in Chatham, Massachusetts.
My cityscape, The Steel Mill, Bethlehem, PA, won an award of merit at the Maryland Pastel Society's "Shades of Pastel" national juried exhibition in Washington, DC. In addition, my painting, The Book of Revelations, was accepted for the exhibition. The exhibition was held at the Charles Sumner School Museum at 1201 17th Street, NW in Washington, DC through January 31, 2007.
