Are you familiar with the "For Dummies" series of books? I often tell people that being an artist in Pennsylvania is like "Painting for Dummies" because you can't help but end up with a beautiful painting when you get to start with scenery that is so awe-inspiring. Here, for example, is a summertime view of the Conestoga Falls in Ricketts Glen State Park. Designated a National Natural Landmark, this state park in northeast Pennsylvania features 22 named waterfalls and incredible scenery. Like so many other state parks within Pennsylvania, I was totally blown away by the natural beauty when I hiked there.
