A plein air painting of one of my favorite places to work: a rural farm property just north of Port Matilda. Although on this particular morning, it was not one of my better outings....At 7:30am on a Saturday, I got my "SUV" stuck on the property by merely pulling a small distance off of the gravel drive that leads into this scene. It was with great sheepishness that I had to call the property owner for help. Luckily, I caught him on his way to his grandson's T-Ball game. Although I was pretty annoyed with myself, once we got the vehicle freed I was able to capitalize upon the beautiful day.
