The sheer joy of playing with color motivates a lot of my cityscape pieces. This is partly because the manmade colors of urban environments are so different from anything that one would find in nature and partly because I enjoy stylizing these scenes with punchy hues. Here, as the title implies, the main inspiration was the wonderful blue reflection, as well as the contrasting reds and bright lights.
