Hmmm...."Summertime, and the living is easy." Right?
For as much fun as I have exploring nighttime themes in my cityscapes, sometimes it's just fun to do a straight up, broad daylight piece. This work was inspired by a view from the "NoHo" area of New York City during this past summer. I immediately seized upon the strong theme of the three painter's primary colors: red, yellow, and blue. I also liked the geometric foreground shadow pattern.
