This is the first new piece from a recent trip to Chicago earlier this month. I'm endlessly fascinated by the geometric rawness of the Elevated Train or "The El" as it courses through downtown Chicago. I like the strong shapes and the interesting shadows that it creates. This was a view off of Wabash in the heart of the city at midday.
